Description: F-104G (N826NA) in flight. Delivered to the Flight Research Center on June 27, 1975, this F-104 flew a variety of missions over the next 18 years, including tests of the Thermal Protection System (TPS) used on the Space Shuttle. It was retired on February 3, 1994 after 1,415 flights.
