| Description |
NASA scientists are joining other researchers in a multi-year airborne campaign to study the humidity and chemical composition of the atmosphere's tropopause layer over the Pacific Ocean in 2013-14. Led by NASA's Ames Research Center, ATTREX will focus on small changes that may significantly impact our climate. The ATTREX team recently checked out 11 specialized instruments on a Global Hawk during several flights from NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center. |
