In addition to NASA's Mission to Mars, there is interest in studying the mechanics of flight in other atmospheres in anticipation of exploring other planets and satellites both in and out of the solar system. Little is currently know about the Reynolds number, lift, and airfoil dynamics in an atmosphere with a different density and/or composition from the Earth's.
